After celebrating 14 years in business it’s time for a few changes

That’s right, I have been in business for 14 years, and a lot has changed since 2010 when I first started selling my jewellery, candles, and soap to the public in the UK. With that in mind, I decided to review my products and give the stall a new look.

I had a huge amount of products on offer and this was causing a bit of overwhelm for me so I have decided to discontinue some ranges and make some exciting changes that allow me to continue to use my favorite techniques but in a way that provides you, my customers with the products you want.

What’s out?

The discontinued products are as follows:

  • Silk Scarves, ties, cushions, and accessories
  • Knitted blankets and baby knits (baby knits can be found on my Etsy shop)
  • Knitted ladies’ jumpers and belts
  • Knitted washcloths, soap pockets, and bath scrubbies
  • Wooden decorative items
  • Leather gifts (can now be found in my husband’s Etsy Shop)
  • Quilled wall art
  • Notebooks

Wherever possible the discontinued items will be upcycled, donated to charity or recycled, as I firmly believe in reducing waste as much as possible. My local charity, the petites mains du Limousin will be benefiting from donations, which will be available for sale in the shop in Aubusson.

What’s In?

I will continue to offer to you my bestselling ranges as follows:

  • Jewellery
  • Greetings Cards
  • Hair accessories
  • Keyrings
  • Knitted accessories and jewellery

These changes will allow me to focus on creating new jewellery collections and also developing the knitted jewellery collection. Sign up for my newsletter to see all the new products before everyone else.

Stall Makeover

With all these changes to the product ranges I needed to overhaul the look of the stall, which is something that will continue to evolve as my new collections become available, but as you can see from the pictures below, it now looks completely different to my first stall layout in 2010.

I’m very pleased with the new look and the feedback from customers has been really positive.

Now it’s much easier for you to find a gift and I have included some baskets to make your shopping experience easier too.

I have also added the option to “scan to pay” using your mobile phone again to simplify your shopping in my dedicated checkout area, where you can opt for gift wrapping too.

What do you think?

I’m interested to know what you think about the changes I have made, do you like the new look? Would you like me to re-introduce any of the products I have discontinued? Join in the conversation in the comments below.

And don’t forget to come back to the blog to discover the new products available in the coming weeks.
