I love wrapping gifts, but it’s not a task enjoyed by everyone

Now most of the reasons above for hating wrapping gifts can be simply rectified with a little planning, such as buying enough paper (of the right type for your style of wrapping), tape and labels before you start. (It’s stage one of my guide to getting Christmas wrapped up early) and I’ve been inspired to add some new guides to the site on the subject of gift wrapping.

Planning seems to be the crucial point here, allow yourself plenty of time, buy your supplies in advance, and if needs be practice, so you’re pleased with the outcome.

There are lots of new and inspiring ways to wrap gifts, and having seen a few new ideas online, I think I can rival my husband this year on the gift wrapping front, (he is, I hate to admit, very good at wrapping presents). So this year I may just surprise him!
