Knitted hearts in different colours

French inspiration for your Valentine’s cards messages

It’s that time of year again, February the 14th is almost here, you’ve got the card and gift, maybe even planned a special celebration but now you just can’t find the right words to write in the card for your loved one. Tough gig!

I try to write original messages in my cards but as time passes it gets harder to avoid the usual phrases, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who struggles with this.

It is argued that French is the most romantic language in the world, and having lived here now for nearly 9 years I can see why. So I’ve taken inspiration from my French counterparts to give you 14 romantic French phrases you can use in your greetings cards this Valentine’s Day.

14 Romantic French Sayings
